It currently implements support for the SPICE protocol.NOTES(1) Some older devices are known to have issues with self-signed SSL certificates. If you find you are affected, return Opaque or ask for a refund. Please do not rate the application badly because of a platform issue!(2) On most current devices, playing sound and video exceeds the CPU processing power and causes jittery sound and video playback.(3) If virtual machines are behind a RHEV/oVirt proxy, you may need to connect to them with Opaque by using a .vv file. To get a .vv file, you have to login through the oVirt/RHEV web interface and connect to your VMs console there. Chrome works perfectly with the web interface, and opens Opaque directly. With Firefox, you have to open a File Manager, and tap the file in the Downloads folder as soon as the download completes. The built-in Android Browser does not work for .vv downloading.* System administrators: If you are planning to recommend this app, please ensure you have determined the simplest method of access for your environment.* Users: If youre unsure, please ask your System Administrator!(4) Direct connections to Proxmox VMs are now fully supported. Pretty good -- importantly it works to open oVirt vv connections. Running on Chromebook. Would be improved with: copy and paste sync, Alt-Tab capture when full screen, and scrolling down has a strange effect of scrolling the whole view window on the screen rather than scrolling the window within the Spice view. Possible some of these bugs are specific to the Chromebook experience. Keep up the good work.
Required to use SPICE with the official Proxmox mobile app, but doesn't work, just shows an error message. Nice. Refunded the purchase.
It does not work properly with the .vv files downloaded from proxmox web ui, as when it opens the .vv file the connectionto vm is done but in my tablet then all it is shown is a white background with only the mouse pointer around there.
Great, will have to email you for further details and enhancements.
Awesome app, great support from the dev who is very knowledgeable. Keep up the excellent work!
Its slow, 32bit color, no way to switch, even when lowered resolution still was slow. Tried win10, debian, ubuntu on latest proxmox, all were slow. Why sell this when its not usable?
great program, but no mouse click or special button input is possible. I would appreciate some support with this issue. Edit: Support was provided quickly and effectively. The error was ultimately related to my VM monitor resolution and not this app. I strongly recommend both the app and the developer.
Stability issues now seem to be fixed with the latest version.
The integration with Proxmox is absolutely fantastic. I could even play youtube videos with sound in the guest vm! well done dev!
Works perfectly for connecting to my VMs
